What to do with my old GT4 ST185?

Hi guys, hoping someone here can point me in the right direction.

I have a White J reg (94) GT4 ST185 import that was a treat to drive.  A lot of money was spent on the engine and cooling system, so the car ran really nice when it was on the road.  But the body and steering let it down, bits of rust here and there, paint laquer starting to peel etc.  But the main problerm was the steering, where the steering column leasdds to the engine bay and goes through some sort of firewall whihc it is secured to, has cracked cuasing the steering to pull and be wonkly.  Cannot be realigned.  From what I keep getting told, its a very big job to fix as it means engine out etc.

So not having the time to sort it out, I got a run around and have left it on the drive for a while. It has now come to a stage where I need the space on the drive and I need to do something with the Celica really soon.  I really dont want to just scrap it as I know they are getting rarer and rarer and could be useful for someone, not to mention I can regain some expenses back maybe.  I don't have the space or time to sell it in bit and peices either.

So does anyone have any ideas what can be done, should I just scrap?, is it sellable?, are there any parts I should hold onto?.

Any advice and help woul be appreciated as i rally would feel sad to scrap it.

Try making the same thread on celica-club.co.uk

There are quite a few Gen 5 enthusiasts on that forum.

Good luck 🙂
