you could always input a false login/password on the 1st attempt and then put in the correct details when the PC complains that your login details are incorrect. You'd be certain to know that someone had grabbed your false login details because the next time you went to log on the chances are your password retries will have been exceeded and the account locked (maybe use a lecturers ID or something in that case )
