Key Replacement Needed! C-HR 2018

My C-HR remote key has been damaged and is in a dozen or so pieces after being run over by an industrial mower in the park! I know you couldn't make it up. Toyota says its £325 for a new one! Has anyone managed to source something cheaper please? I'm SW London area.

Sorry to hear your woes! I doubt you could get one other than Mr T as you will need a new chip etc. and it will need to be coded too I should think. No help now but I recently took out car/home key cover with my insurance, £17 per yr. key cover up to £1000.00 worth considering in future as car keys are so expensive to replace as I fear you are about to find out ☹️hope you get it sorted ok. Spare key use for now!

Try an auto locksmith or Timpsons.

Could check your insurance policy to see whether that covers keys, but bear in mind that most key cover is for lost or stolen keys - not necessarily damage to keys.
