What unit do you have, the tripleplay does not have built in sat nav if your car is a 2020 it will not have a 2017 x-nav map

Ah you have an aftermarket sat nav (Chinese android module) - tbh i didn't even know they did them for the Triple play

is that something you fitted ? have you had the car play working at all ?

No. The CarPlay did not work. I’ve got the car registrate at 2020. But I’m not sure when he is made (car from work)

I’m not sure if this is the final update.

carplay should be working, if I’m looking at the manual. It isn’t working when I do plug in a usb portcable. For android it is working:

Please be patient, i do not live on the forums (tho it seems like it) nor do i have anything to do with the running of the forum, this is just an interest/hobby

 

you have an aftermarket sat nav module installed, this will not allow CarPlay to work as they are not compatible with each other

2 choices

1. carry on using the sat nav

2. remove/disconnect the sat nav module, making sure to plug the usb back into the radio from the sat nav harness/wiring

 

This is not a firmware issue

the 2 updates above are for the X-touch only

do you know how I can disconnect the navigation? It’s not up-to-date is it’s better to use CarPlay on it, giving me more correct navigation. 
 

if I do remove the navigation from the system. Will CarPlay be activated?

yes, remove the nav, and the CarPlay should work

the sat nav wiring will be behind the radio, the nav box will be behind the stereo or glove box

there are plenty of vids on YouTube on how to remove the radio from the mk2 aygo/c1/108

First thanks for all informations in this topic, I just bought a 86140YV010 and all is working and I get Apple Carplay now! 🙂

But the micro isn't working because I don't have it in the interior light (I have a Citroen C1 with the basic radio without touch screen).

I saw others topics talking about how to connect the microphone on the 28 pin connector (like this one:

I bought a original microphone on eBay (like the image above) but now I don't know technically how to do it...

Someone can help me?

simply run 2 wires from the Mic to the radio

wire size is not that critical, 0.35mm2 (12/0.20) thinwall will be fine

Strip the wire back, join the new wires to it, either solder and heat shrink or crimp it

At the radio end just add the terminals or pigtails (pre crimped terminals with a length of wire)  and insert into the existing plug

I have a Toyota Aygo with a rear camera from 2014 with the following Headunit 

Modell-ID:13TPDAEU-EA01

SAM ID:AEAICDJQDH

Hardware-Nr.:86140-0H010

 

Which of course cant do anything, no Android Auto,no Car Play, no "x-play" or anything.

I have read the first 4 pages and figured it was easier to just ask: 

 

could I just order a 86140-YV020 unit and it would "just work" ?

Yes it would just be a direct swap plug and play.....
