Apple CarPlay for Aygo 18 plate (UK)

I brought a Toyota Aygo 2018 plate in June 2018. It is a limited edition 2018 Petrol 1.0L Manual 5 doors X-CITE 4 VVT-I Hatchback. As I was a previous customer before I was told I will have the new in car applications of the Apple phones (Apple CarPlay). 

Since having the car I have connected the USB, tried setting up multimedia through the app, downloaded AppinCar by pioneer (what a load of rubbish!) watches YouTube videos and everything to set this up and I just cannot seem to do it! 

Can anyone help me with this? What am I doing wrong?

Has the multimedia unit (X-Touch) got two buttons or three?

Two buttons one for the home page and one for the volume! 

I was trying to set up the multimedia ID on my Toyota app but again I don’t know what system I have in place!

As far as I'm aware, the X-touch which has smartphone integration (eg. Apple Carplay) has three buttons as per the following image:

So it looks like yours doesn't have Apple Carplay.
