You have a microphone fault, if it doesn't detect the mic it disables the bluetooth - was it working before or is it a new car to you ?

The microphone is located behind the heater surround, pop the trim off with a trim tool (it's just clipped in place)

I will explain everything
for the usb port it works nickel (charging phone)
for the bluetooth function works 100% audio with phone
for fm radio works not alltime
usb and ipod function is displayed in dark gray color inactive and not detectable

my second problem my reversing camera has spots that disappear after 10 to 15 seconds?! solutions ?

As you have nav, that over-rides the DA firmware, rarely do you need to update the DA in this situation

I spent all the evening trying to update, but still no luck from now.

My mom's car system is XE3809 / 13TXDAEU-CA02

I've downloaded XE3953 / 13TXDAEU-CA82_9999.kwi  from Toyota-tech but when I initiate the process from service menu, the 'OK' button never goes black and I can't begin update.

Any help would be very appreciated!

Updates are not done through the service menu, turn the car on let the system boot, plug in the USB drive

usb stick has to be pc formatted in fat32 in a single partition (not efi), <32gb in size

It worked! My USB stick was 64Gb, I used a smaller one and everything worked well, I had to update from the hidden service menu though. Thanks for your help!

Hi, @flash22, I'm after some help please, I bought a 2014 yaris, the stereo on the picture doesn't have the nav system installed, 2 questions please, can I upgrade the stereo to the nav version easy? And as it has no satnav are there any updates I can do, the only info I can find is included in the pic from the hidden menu. Thankyou.

That is the Touch system, no updates are available, the last map update for this unit 2021 - i don't think they support it any longer

unless you can pick up the nav module cheaply, don't bother

Hi New to the group and thought it better to ask a question here rather than post a new one.

My wife has just bought a 2015 Yaris Hybrid and looking at the versions of the map its way out of date.  Software is 4.3.0L and 2014 v 2, is it possible to buy map updates on usb? if so does anyone have a link (im in the UK) I have tried signing up to the My Toyota site and going to etore and then map of europe then it asks, you just need to know software version but when inputting 4.3 the lowest is 4.4 so no idea how to upgrade maps

Thanks Bob i might have also inadvertently registered the wrong version of the satnav when i registered, maybe you can tell me, i clicked on devices and selected ToyotaTouch2Go gen 1  and put in the multimedia device ID and i now think its gen 2 (see image) but i can't edit or change it, ive tried removing the car but it comes back the same, or does it matter as it recognised the device id? Thanks i'll download the TLS update.

That is a touch2 gen 1 (MM13) - gen 2 is 2017 onwards (silver buttons) (MM16)
