Just to double check is this TLS 1.2 and i download unpack etc and then install before getting the Map Update 6.20.0L?

tbh it doesnt really matter i would do it after, just in case it's part of the map update

Thanks Bob for your help, tips to others as its taken 3 days, first make sure you have the right size usb pen, mine although it said 8gb on the pen the actual amount was less. I ordered a 32gb pen and flashed that and it worked, checking the 2 pens the lower one had less files on and even though it went through the set up, it didn't start counting down the files. Tip 2 download the free TLS file and do that first, then restart and check the device has changed, put the new version into the My toyota website and then download the free europe map update. I didn't have to pay anything. All updated now to the 2022 system and map. Looks different as there are tiles now.

Any music is awfully tinny sounding and completely cuts out any mid-range audio.

 

Would you be able to send me any software/firmware file updates?

Sounds like a blown speaker or 2 rather than a radio issue, Is that AUDM or JDM import car ?

3953 fixes a lot of issues you may want to check your BT settings as you can set it to connect to the phone only or phone and media

Don't think mine has OTA capabilities, unless hidden somewhere(?). I didn't mention, but I have no nav.

Regarding 1413, any noteworthy fixes?

Audio information:
Software version: XE3809
Model ID: 13TXDAEU-CA02

System information:
4.3.0L
Map ID:2014v2

From my e-store I can see that the latest update is Map Update 6.20.0L which costs 129 euros.

Any workarounds around that?
