Rear fog light stays on

Checked rear lights this morning and rear fog light is on

Tried the switch on the indicator stalk but made no difference

Am I missing something here

The fog light switch is the innermost collar next to the light switch. Did you twist it to the "o" position. If your car has rear only the rear fogs, and you follow what I mentioned then that should be all. 
I downloaded the owner's manual for the Corolla, and the fog switch are typical Toyota set up used for along time. Read the manual to confirm you are doing the correct thing.
It would be strange if the fogs are stuck on, so take the car back to the dealer if the fault is genuine. Don't want to be embarrassed!

Strange thing is the orange fog light comes on with the stalk switch and the rear fog light is on

Turn the switch back to O and the fog light warning switch goes off but the fog light stays on

Will ring dealer to get them to check it out

Maybe it's a glitch

Took it to toyota and they found the fault

When the car was wrapped the lights came off 

When they put them back on they got the connections crossed over and plugged them into the wrong bulb connection 

All good now
