I just got some 17" alloys but the tyres that are on them are 225/45/17 so the front wheels wont even rotate lol i asked for some 205/30/17 to kep the diameter as standard but they say that they cant get them???

215/40/17 front

235/40/17 rear

that's the norm

they are all the same size 225/45/17

so 40's will allow the front weel to rotate without rubbing on the suspension?

Posted

it's to do with the width also... because my stupid garage put one of the rears on the front and it was rubbing till I realised and swapped them over.

The 215/40/17 will defo be fine on the front mate.

I used to have 215 front and 245 rear. It came from japland like this. Bad idea, possible additional reason as to why I crashed last year.
