I found some a while ago but cant find the web site again. I'm after the rubber boot that seals the rear of the headlight. Both are gone on mine .

Anyone know where to find them or what they are called please ?

Thanks for replying Bob. As I wondered about the strange description. I think the part number is 81115b i that case.

Yes my car model is

SCP12R-CHMRKW

Its a 2005 Colour collection. And at that price I'll pop down my local dealer and order a couple. I did find somewhere on eBay, I think, a year or so ago but I cant find them now

Thanks again

Ah that's a late mk1, 81115B is the PNC number the part number is 81139-0D010 there a bit more pricey tho at £10-15 each

But of course double check that with the dealer

PS. According to the epc your car is a TR spec

It's actually called a 1.3 Colour Collection on the reg doc but I suspect an end of model "crossover" or similar manufacturing  mash up as it was just before the Mk2 came out.

Really appreciate your help on this.

Many thanks

Bob, could i trouble you for the part numbers for both LH and RH headlight units please ?

I think they are RH: PNC:81135 or OEM No: 81130-0D080 (on Valeo unit itself 89008659)

                        LH: 81175  or OEM No: 81170-0D090 (89900178)

looking at non OEM ones on Amazon for £42 each. You were right on the socket cover, £19 incl VAT each

RH Traffic spec for RHD Yaris in Europe

RH - 81130-0D080

LH - 81170-0D080

Standard RHD

RH - 81130-0D090

LH - 81170-0D090

hope your sitting down - a quick google shows there over £200 each rrp from Toyota but more likely to be around £140

The £45 ones are more than likely Depo

I know....I'll need to remortgage to get them from Toyota. Yes, the non OEM are Depo.

How do I know if mine are Traffic spec or standard Bob ? The ones on Amazon say

  • Make: Toyota, Model: Yaris Mk1, Fitment: Hatchback
  • Year: 7/2003-2005, Product: Headlamp, Electric or Manual Adjust: Electric Adjust
  • With or Without Motor: Excludes Load Level Motor, Color: As Pictured, Placement on Vehicle: Passenger Side N/S
  • OEM Number: 81170-0D090, Manufacturer: Depo, Brand: Depo,Intended Use: Direct Replacement
  • Halogen Bulb Type: Halogen Bulb Type, Bulb Type: H4 PY21W W5W

the wife is looking at a 2018 Yaris as an update. The 2005 one we have has been brilliant but is beginning to show some "minor" failures

RH - right-hand, so RH traffic spec will be a right hand aim for driving on the right in a rhd yaris

Thanks

I could leave them as they look ok, have just passed MOTn and we are getting rid of the car very soon. But the garage changed the headlamp bulbs and now the O/S unit gets condensation. That plus they seem to have lost the rubber socket covers, although they deny it. So I've used plastic sheet cut to shape and taped on for now

I cant complain I suppose as the car has really only cost us tyres and services up to now.

Fair enough, the dealer will only send it out to auction anyway, so dead money for the low offer they will give you for it (£800-1000 if your lucky)

Not expecting much either to be fair. Although my son, 32 years old, wants it so he can change it to some sort of track vehicles. Apparently there quite a large movement of people doing it with older solid small cars.

Who knew 😁
