Yaris 2006 Semi-Auto MMT calibration / reset cost?

I'm a new driver  and bought a high mileage 2006 Yaris Semi Auto to practice as my first car around 2 months ago.

car is in very good condition overall but recently noticed when driving at very low speeds (in car park / trying to park / crawling) car struggles and jerks as if it was a manual car in wrong gear.

jerking stops as soon as I speed up.

also it does not creep forward if I release the break like typical automatic cars.(although that's not too important for me)

so I did a research and it seems jerking at very low speed can be due to ECU / MMT Gearbox computer needing "initializing" / "calibration" / "reset".

at least with quite a few similar issues I came across online, doing so resolved the problem.

my question is,where should I take the car for such calibration? obviously it's a older car and not worth paying premium service fees.

can I take it to any independant mechanic or maybe kwik-fit?

does anyone know the cost of this "calibraton" / " initializing"?

any advice is greatly appreciated!

1st rule never take anything to Kwik-Fit not even a lawn mower !!!!, The semi auto's were never the smoothest of cars at low speeds tbh, That is correct they don't creep like an auto

They usually only ever need "initializing" / "calibration" / "reset" when the clutch is changed not many places can't do it successfully apart from the main dealer or an auto gearbox specialist (most mechanics can do a clutch change tho)

The clutch maybe worn if its up in the miles, 70-80k miles is about right for a semi auto, a lot of slow manoeuvres will not help

thanks for your reply but I was reading these 2 old posts, they had the exact same issue and "initializing" pocess completely resolved the issue.

it's a simple process (pressing break a certain times then changing gear in an specific way etc ) however me being a complete beginer,I don't want to mess with the car in anyway.it's unbelieavable if a  mechanic can't do this!
