No Black Mesh !

couldn't find black mesh to save myself !

The stuff that demon tweaks do is epoxy coated, but the guy on the phone said basically if it chips a big bit is gonna come off as opposed to a small stone chip shown on paint.

So....

I've had to go with silver. demon tweeks also said that no one makes black mesh....

Any ideas what to do with the silver mesh to make it black ? I suggested powder coating to the bodyshop, but they just hummed and hawed at me.

Anyway... gone for the smallest mesh in this pic.

2 sheets of 30 X 100CM will be enough surely to cover all the spaces in the bumper ?

Should look OK tho i think IMO...

Powder coating is going to probably be the best way, think about it, alloy wheels get powdercoated and seem to be fine, so why not mesh?

We fitted a fine mesh to a car about 12 months ago, as it was small weave we found it effected air flow and the car didn't perform as well, be carefull how fine it is, remember your covering the rads - you'll need to keep it cool.

Jim, how would you get proper black mesh? From a black metal?

If you wanted black, should have gone plastic stuff I suggested ages ago ..

Just done mine today :)

Black plastic mesh from Halfrauds - bit pricey at £21.99, but at least it won't chip like a painted mesh (didn't want silver colour)...
