Alot Of Work Needed For Border Bumper

Recommended Posts

yip... alot of work needed to get my border bumper nice.

Bodyshop sid there's quite alot of work needing done to it to get it decent.

It's costing me £350 to get the bumper sorted, primed, painted and fitted. The bomex Scoop painted. The Toms Skirt fins painted and fitted.

Does this seem decent ? Bearing in mind I have seen there work and it is top quality.

Another £40 to sort out a dink that some plonker made in my door. ( the second one in a year!!! ).

My bumper fitted with a small (and i mean SMALL) amount of modding from Matt ..

But the price don't sound bad ..

the bumper itself is a good fit.

It's just the state of it... very poor finish and rough in places etc.

ahh .. The place that sprayed mine mentioned the primer too .. :)

It did need some blocking but nothing too bad...... it depends how far you want to go, you can keep sanding and filling for days, £350 doesn't sound too bad.... its about 6/7 hrs labour + materials if you think about it.

Lets just hope you get your moneys worth!! Post some pics when its done jim,

Matt.
