The one consistent point seems to be the MY22 has ceased production and anything now will be a MY23. Whether you have to pay more as a result, and whether the finance rates on the original deal remain valid seems to be subject to variation depending on which dealer.

I know there are lots of challenges for manufacturers at the moment, but I’m surprised that Toyota’s internal and external communications are so uncoordinated. 

One small correction , yes MY22 ceased production , but the ones built in the last couple of weeks still on the verge of being delivered first 2 weeks of January.

Yep, fair point. Although I can’t believe that those whose cars are actually made still haven’t had that confirmed. It all seems so chaotic!

If dealers are doing things correctly and entering customer details you should see your car in the MyT app as soon as it’s made, before it leaves the factory, I’ve seen mine the last 2 times I’ve ordered, there shouldn’t be any surprise calls unless they are giving you a car that wasn’t allocated to you.

Mine still shows a 184BHP (MY22) in Denim Blue.  Do you know when it will likely change to the revised order (MY23, Juniper Blue)?

If you ordered through a broker , you don’t have access to the information in the app … and you rely on any updates given by the dealer to the broker and than the broker to you 🙃

Carwow only deal with main dealers. If you order from somewhere like Autoebid then it’s less likely to be main dealer.

I got my local dealer to price match carwow as they don’t use it themselves.

Yeah, I'm not 100% sure myself tbh. Especially if a few of the specs disappear off the list when they finally get around to releasing the details. Then I may well opt to go elsewhere..

It' s January I am expected to get my delivery within this month however my dealership hasn't been replying to my calls so far today and am still awaiting full confirmation that I do have a car on my way. An estimation doesn't seem promising to me until I hear from their end that my car has actually arrived

On 18th of May I've ordered a Toyota Corolla Excel 2.0l TS with JBL Speakers. At the time, I got an interesting deal from Car WOW (almost 3 grad off the price) and 0% finance. I was supposed to receive the car mid January. Today I got the call from my Toyota dealership, in Southampton, stating that Toyota won't honour neither the agreed price or the agreed finance. The dealership will do all they can to bring the price down but there's not much they can do. However, as they say, I have options, I can cancel the order and get my money back. Oh, and the cherry on top of the cake: They can only deliver in June! JUNE! 

A joke of a company. Nowadays, it's unacceptable and inadmissible for the company to treat their customers like that. I'll be taking my wrath into social media now. Other people must be warned.

So I've posted my story here before but there's yet another twist in the tale. I ordered back on February 1st a 1.8L TS GR Sport. Was told about June time for delivery which was fine. Then get the notification mid may that my car has been delivered to the dealership which was brilliant. Then they broke the news to me that they accidentally ordered a hatchback instead...

They then had the cheek to say if I reordered I'd be looking at a December build and that I wouldn't be getting the 0% deal and that I would have to pay the increase list price. Luckily I went above the dealership directly to Toyota and they managed to rectify the situation. So a new TS was ordered this time with a December ETA. 

Now I've been informed it's a June/July build date and that I will now have to foot the extra cost, despite my not wanting a MY23 initially, this has all happened because of the dealerships incompetence. So looking like I'll be cancelling and going elsewhere for something used. Utterly ridiculous.

I ordered a MY23 2.0 TS Excel early Sept, checked today with dealer, eta moved from 1Mar to 2Apr, might move again but dealer thought not by much, they don’t have the final spec yet, Toyota been secretive, no idea why

It was built last month so my22. All the January delivery are my22 as far as I am aware

I think my dealer is on a roll today got my reg number and delivery to me is 19th onwards. Some nagging worked

Just been told 1 June.  2.0 TS excel ordered in June 2022.

We have been assured that the 1.9% deal and negotiated price will stand.  I do hope so, but will wait and see.

I seems the rolled 22 orders are after the new 23 orders in sept, did you order JBL originally?
