I would be happy to receive these kind of news 😉 my delivery eta was / is week commencing 16th Jan - but here I am sitting ducks and nobody tells me anything yes or no … nothing 🤷‍♂️ (not dealing directly with any dealership makes things even more difficult)

Apparently coming by tomorrow and then we should start getting them next week. I don't think so but cabdirect offer is too good to let go so I just keep waiting lol.

For me, the risk end of March, is that Toyota look at the risk and see it is an acceptable one to take to not continue the 0%. Betting that by that point a lot of customers will be too invested and "willing" to take the new terms (as other manufacturers will be offering similar APR terms and wait times will still be long).

We'll wait to see what the offer is, taking into account vehicle price and finance rates and go from there. But we ordered as the offer worked at the time - in the fortunate position that we didn't need to buy (and arguably still don't).

My local dealer has the MY 23! This is the GR Sport Version but interestingly it has the auto park function which I thought was being removed.

Interesting, does it have the 22 version of simple intelligent parking assist or the newer advanced park, advanced park will use a camera near front Badge and under wing mirrors, otherwise the wheel arches will have an extra sonic sensor

If you zoom in the wheel arch passenger font has a sensor. Is that what you are referring to?

Yes, I can’t see on the image, maybe u have better quality image, my 22 GR Sport has 12 sensors one on each wheel arch is for the parking, for advanced park look for a camera under the Badge

 the next question if there is parking system is, is it standard or an extra pack you have to order

Thanks, yes that is the sensor for sipa that is on the 22 models

The image you took of the main multimedia screen is a my22, sorry I suspected that isn’t-a my23 as it has the physical volume knob which isn’t on my23

Another observation, those wheels are my 22, your dealer is misleading you, that is not a my23, maybe it’s just registered in 23?

Ah ok, I compared the one next to it which had a smaller infotainment screen and extra buttons down the side and assumed it was MY23

Its a MY22 still has a knob on radio with smaller screen and wrong alloys for MY23 GRsport

We ordered 1.8 Design TS in mid-March'22, Denim Blue, which Toyota changed to Juniper Blue, and we recently changed to Obsidian Blue.

Will be interested to hear any other ETAs that are coming out from dealers.

Given Tesla's huge price cut yesterday, I'm mulling over whether to go to a centre and take a look at a model Y.

I understand delivery would likely be before my Corolla TS.

Well. I do the same thing. Every 2-3 weeks I go to test drive other brands 😂 But nothing can beat Toyota so far + I'm waiting to see what will happen with the agreed price and my 0% interest maybe I can get MY23 for 34000£ 😅😂🤣🎉 and no interest at all

I couldn’t think of a worse brand! A lot of EV owners have buyers remorse and Tesla is the armpit of reliability.

I don't like the controls but they do have the massive advantage of the Tesla charging network. As much as I dislike them, Tesla are the only EV currently on the market that you can make work even if you don't have home charging.

I was keeping my fingers crossed until the last minute , but on Friday I was informed that my order didn’t make it to the final MY22 builds. I was supposed to get delivery next week , and not hearing any new updates from my broker I was assuming that it was built and it comes down only to logistical delays. It is very poor from Toyota not giving correct updates and in time , at least we know what we’re facing , but it’s almost like playing the lottery 🤷‍♂️ the next upsetting part is that even though I have ordered in May , my new ETA is only June , was expecting to be dealt in the early months of 2023 as not honoured MY22 order
