Interesting ! I changed my Colour in Sept too ! To Sterling Silver. My Dealer has said it is showing as March for delivery but I'll probably guess that will mean April at the earliest. The Dealer will honour the Original price and Metallic Paint cost ( Gone from £540 to £960 !!) the potential sticking point will be my Trade in Value but I'll fight that nearer the time. This is all against the backdrop of 2 Price Increases which now means the Excel HB has gone from just over £30k to £36K with Metallic Paint but I guessing you already know that !.

The Dealer did say that Toyota UK will prioritize all outstanding 2022 orders first (Target March and April) and this was backed up with a conversation I had with Toyota GB too.

So Fingers crossed you might get your Corolla at little sooner ?

Sterling silver is pearlescent paint, ceramic not metallic, I have this colour currently and it’s excellent, I understand it’s a 3 coat instead of 2 coat application.

Hatchback 2.0 Excel Sterling Silver

Last time I spoke with Toyota for my Corolla TS Excel was in  November 2022 and the delivery date was March 2023

I just phoned Toyota  to confirm if this is still happening and they said yes. Will pick up the car end of March // April the latest. And will probably know more about the paper work in the next 4 to 6 weeks.🤞

We've all waited this long ! So another 2 months will seem relatively Short ! !

They better start to give their latest information on the MY23 Corolla , Honda delivery estimate on the new Civic Hybrid is about 6 months as well. the new Civic is really a good alternative to the the Corolla.

Looks like I have been allocated a build slot! March build may be accurate after all!

Same here. Not too long now. If we are to get the cars in March they should be built by end of February

Processing order on the app means nothing, just you placed an order, mine been showing that for 5 months, when it  changes to building then it’ll be with dealer within a week or so, but processing can show like that for a year, better to ask dealer what date their system is showing

I've also had a notification from the app.

Not expecting mine until June.  But maybe toyota are starting to assemble production batches?

your order is just being processed not being built yet. So it means nothing. As I have the same thing on my order. Its a waiting game.

Yep we all know that. But was no details in my app before. At least now is showing Derbyshire United Kingdom.

Ordered my MY23 in October. It started to show the order processed in November on the app. It means nothing as mine is not expecting to be built untill at least May this year say's dealer. Sorry to get your hopes up. App means nothing untill the build actually starts which is a lottery.

From everything I have read, it means a build slot has been allocated, which is a pretty significant step forward. It’s no longer sat in the unallocated order queue. I appreciate its not yet being built, but it’s a step closer, and more than we’ve seen for the last 8 months!

I did read that it also meant there are more details available in the back end of MyT using a desktop, however it looks like Toyota has updated the system so it doesn’t show anymore unless anyone knows any different?

Update to above, dealer has just called. Slot confirmed for a MY23, delivery at the end of March.

Dealers still have not more information on the specification other than what has previously been circulated and no idea when new brochures etc will be released.

I'm a bit puzzled guys! Just looked at myT app and see this.

Last week I've negotiated the price for the new corolla 23 and it's on it's way already? Dealer said I should get the car in June! 😅

Should I expect the model 22 or 23?

That's mighty quick. I am puzzled too. If you negotiated for a MY23 make sure it really is. Don't accept a My22. I am very suspicious about the speed of delivery on this one. Be careful Alex.

Morning

Ordered an TS, 2.0, Icon Tech in Denim Blue in April 2022 on a business lease for delivery on 1 February 2023

At the end September 2022 got told, Denim Blue not available so I changed it to Juniper Blue (I guessed My22 was out the window at that stage).

Then in middle of October 2022 got told would be a My23 Icon and price of April order would not be honoured.   But delivery would still be February 2023 at a higher lease price.

Today informed by lease company "We are awaiting confirmation of your vehicles build slot with the manufacturer" and anticipated delivery date of 2.0 TS Icon, which is subject to change,  is now 31 May 2023 🙄

Guess everyone is having the same issue.  Not sure if jumping to another maufacture will help price or time scales.

Jumping to another manufacturer will not help. Not too many cars on the road with 72 plate these days. Delivery dates are going to improve. Not sure about March. It seems half on England is promised delivery end of March. It looks like casino at the moment 🤣. Will they honour your agreed interest rate.

I am guessing it all depends on the type of purchase. I am purchasing my Corolla and paid a deposit. Leasing/PCP I would imagine is different and hence the List price could change.

The dealer just called and says it's a MY23. The tricky bit here is that there is no official documentation in terms of what are the new features for the UK model.

What would be the best way for me to tell it's a MY23 when I see the car? Should I compare it to the one here:

This is MY23 but for Europe. I hope UK spec will be the same.

3 easy things

1. New front grill

2. Rear fake exhaust

3. 12.3-inch driver’s combimeter

Its a company vehicle so it goes through our fleet services so I don't see prices, interest rates, discounts.  Just the final cost for my use.

From the above videos and online reviews looks like it will be great once I do get the keys and the 7.5 sec 0 to 60.  Just more info in the final specs would be good, Please Toyota UK

Apparently I got the second Toyota Corolla TS MY23 in Southampton (the first one was received yesterday night for the showroom). They don't even have a demo car yet! The dealer has just sent me the confirmation video. 😍  Will be picking it up on Friday. 🤩

Summary:

Ordered MY22 on the 18th of May. Planned delivery for MY22 mid-Jan. Actual delivery of a MY23 at the end of Jan.
Complained about having to pay more for the car and the new deal being at a much higher APR value. Had to renegotiate PCP. Got the APR value honoured what resulted on a monthly decrease of ~£67pm in my contract. Didn't get the JBL Speakers, but sound seemed pretty reasonable (I went into the dealer to test the sound system and gadgets from the one in the showroom).

Overall, I'm happy with the fact that the car is a MY23 and not a MY22 but would be happier if the car price was honoured, i.e., pay the same as I would for the MY22, and the JBL Speakers were installed.

I hope you guys receive your car earlier than anticipated.
