Ok thanks how long after did it get built?

Nobody knows. If nothing wrong goes at the plant maybe 1 to 4 weeks.

Just checked.

Notified by App Jan 28th.  Despatched to dealer 7 Feb.  Arrived at dealer 14 Feb.  Picked up 20 Feb.

I ordered in March 22 the same car was told Oct, Dec and Jan, had to pay extra for new model. I don’t have a date at all, Q2 at some point apparently. I had an update yesterday saying thanks for your order it is processing via the MYT app but its being saying that for a year. No one knows

Did you have to pay the difference between the new and the old price. Most people here have their price and interest honoured by Toyota. I bought last February. Toyota build the car 3 weeks ago. I m still waiting for delivery details and nobody mentioned price or interest changes. I hope I don't get nasty surprise from Toyota.

0% was honoured. I had no choice but to pay an increase despite moaning to Toyota directly because of the substantial changes to the MY23 model over the MY22. I.e if the MY23 model had being substantially the same as the MY22 the price would be honoured.

If you check the T&C’s there is no where to go in it

And how do you feel knowing that people who ordered mid May , mid June are already enjoying their new motor ? 🤷‍♂️

Annoying to say the least. I lost 3 weeks in Toyota sorting out the finance issues. I know people who have ordered Audis have been waiting 18 months and it’s still not resolve. What can you do?

That’s the thing - nothing , and they know it and take advantage of it , like the corporations always do 🤷‍♂️ one raise of the shoulders and you are left with whatever damage (emotional , financial , etc ) I’m sure there is some sort of paper pushing issue somewhere which explains these order inaccuracies.

Fun update this morning.

For an order placed last March, we now have an ETA of August.

Seems the plan to resolve outstanding MY22 orders up to around June (?) has gone out of the window.

People like us on 0% interest are left to wait for months in the hope you give up eventually cos they don't make money from us. I m starting to wonder if is wort having self charging hybrid in London. In the next couple of years all boroughs will introduce  emission based charges. Anything above 100 g/km  CO2 will be a pain in the bum to drive. If I want to keep the car a bit longer I have to go for plug-in hybrid with no more than 30-40 g/km CO2

What I'm trying to say is Corollas are already ( obsolete or too old in a way )to drive in London or perhaps in other boroughs. Toyota have to treat their customer with little more respect or the plant in Burnaston will close. I have been waiting 13 months now and no information from Toyota about my car or any paper work to mention price changes.

My decision whether to keep the car or not is hanging in the balance.

I’m not on 0% finance / actually I had to take on the chin an interest rate hike + the extra money for the MY23 … and still made to wait more than some 🤷‍♂️

If I have to pay for MY23 + interest will probably spend a bit more and go for plug-in hybrid. But that's me.

Small win but I got the dealer to agree to pay for the MOT on my current CHR.

The Burnaston plant only produces 10% for the UK market. It will not close anytime soon. We are not a priority customer in the grand scale of things. People tend to think that because it's a UK based factory, we get the orders first. This is not the case.

Wow that sure is a long wait time on the new car. Hopefully you will enjoy it even more because of that. My previous Mark4 was nine months old when I changed to my present one. So I don’t know if I would wait that long.

Enjoy the new 🚗

I hope I get my one soon. App is showing in transit since 10/02/23

Apparently nobody knows where my car is at the moment. Toyota online are lost with the paperwork and dealer have no information. Total chaos.

1 year and 1 month since purchase 😡

We were originally told 3 months for delivery which is why we ordered, had we known the true delivery would be 9 months down the line and a lot of stress/ lack of information, I don’t think we would have bothered.

The only reason I'm still waiting is the agreed price of 33115 and 0% interest on the finance.

I hope they honour the agreed price and interest or I simply have to cancel and buy plug in hybrid if the price go near  40000

I m already being hammered with emissions based charges to park in London and by the way this is going to be the next big thing. Another charge for the motorists in the pipe line. Anything with more than 100g/km of CO2 will cost a lot in the long run where I live.

Progress !

After 12 months of Progressing order on my MYT app, this morning I got a build in progress notification.

I originally had a Denim Blue 2.0 HB Excel order moved to MY23 in September last year with a delivery date via my Dealer of 21st March in Sterling Silver.

So fingers crossed 🤞

Are they going to honour the agreed price and interest?
