Corolla - UK delivery/lead times, etc

Hi all 

I've been reading all your posts since November 2022. I really shocked how Toyota UK and dealers in UK manipulate you.

Im from poland i ordered my Toyota Corolla Touring Sports 2.0 "Style" in april and i have been already told by the dealer that i will order the NEW MY23 model because factory slots for MY22 version is full..... I am very surprised how dealers allowed you to order 2022 versions in June or July when you could not order them in March in Poland. 

My order was in april 2022 and now car is in Poland dealer stock and just waiting for the paper work so i can get my new toyota in about 2 weeks. Production took place in first week of march.

I ordered a MY22 in March 22 and was told in Jan 23 it would be a MY23 version. Dealer hasn’t told me or allowed me to order a MY22 in the MY23 year

Been told 7th July too, for my September order. That was also previously mid May, so I have no doubt that July date won't be met either. Especially if everyone's been given the same date...

It’s beyond a joke now, can’t plan for anything. At this rate we will get converted to the 24 model!

I had those errors appear in the app when my car came off the transporter before the PDI was done.  I just cleared them, and they've not come back.

Great news. Car is ok. I guess is just a bad management or no management at all with Toyota. Chip shortage, paint shortage, no JBL too many orders cos we left the order book open, poor customer service on top of everything. My dream of buying my first new car on the bucket list once in the life time experience........ now looks like nightmare of Elm Street😂😂😂 Freddy Krueger driving around my car and not giving me my 🗝️ And yes forgot to mention printer ink shortage as well in the Toyota head office 2 weeks waiting for the paperwork to get approved cos nobody likes my 0% interest agreement at the moment.

I had 8 miles on my 2.0 Excel HB.

Yes, I saw a MY22 with a 23 plate as well at my local dealer when my car went in for a recall last week.

Arrived at dealer with 8. Now is 27 and still with dealer. If they keep clocking miles I have to ask for discount 🤣🤣🤣

Are you sure they aren’t using it as a demonstrator? I can’t think why they would need to drive it apart from valeting and pre delivery inspection, you need to find out. Look in the MyT app and see what journeys it has recorded, should show where it’s been.

Has the factory been on Easter shutdown or still producing? Anyone had revised estimated delivery dates recently?

Ordered Mid Sep 22.

Finally got my hands on a 2023 TS to test drive on Monday.

Dealer said will be built Mid May for June delivery.

I won't hold my breath. Just wish I'd opted for the 2ltr now rather than the 1.8 as it can shift!

No change here. Car arrived at the dealer 15/03/23 and no paperwork or reg ready. Not Shure what is happening. I can see the car now just sitting in Toyota garage and collecting dust on my app.

I think I would be camped out at the dealer shouting making a scene in that case.

Ordered 12 April 2022 (1 year to the day, today)

Last Update on 28 February 2023 was anticipated delivery date of 31/7/2023.  Not heard anymore.  Looking forward to it shifting if and when it comes

order is for TS 2.0 Icon in Juniper Blue (was Icon Tech in denim blue)

🤣 Not too bothered now after 14 months. I can wait. Still got my old diesel 🚗 And I have learned where all ulez cameras are now,,,,and I m very good at avoiding them 🤣🤣🤣 So no pressure

Finally some light in the tunnel. Email just came from Toyota online to pay the deposit. 

Deposit is now paid. Have to wait for finance papers to arrive in the next couple of days.I guess not long now maybe 2 weeks max
