Centre console light access

Can anyone tell me how to get to and change the lights in the centre console (heater controls) on my 07 Auris please? Can't find anything on the forum and although I can pop out the gear lever cover I can't get any further to change a blown lamp.

Here's a nice manual.

A bit too detailed, you can probably skip some steps, basically you pop the silver trim around it, and work your way from there.

I doubt thay will be bulbs tbh, its more than likely surface mount leds, AC or climate ? eBay is a good place to look for pictures eg.

Thanks both, very helpful. It's just the light for the middle control (fan speed) on standard AC, not climate.

If I can I may swap it for the one that tells me the airbag is on, that's quite annoying. Most cars switch that off after a few seconds 🙂
