toyota avensis d4d 2.0 2008 is just started making a wee rumble vibrating noise when turning it has only done 59000 miles owned since new see a wee drip on ground any ideas

but when let steering wheel go it returns perfect this just noticed pulling out a parking space

Check and monitor the PAS fluid level. Get to know what the levels are both cold and hot. If the levels are low, then top up and continue to monitor. Maybe you have a slight weep from one of the unions. Power steering pumps do make a noise, you can often hear it more at full lock on the steering, low engine speed, with the car slow or stationary. You need to be sure that it's not just the normal sound and that there actually is a problem before you try to solve it.
