Avensis 2007 not showing any numbers on fuel consumption screen

I have an avensis from 2007, running perfectly, but suddenly the screen in the middle of the dash stopped showing any numbers. Where the numbers used to be, there's just blank space, this is the same for all the categories of things that you can look at, fuel consumption, range and all that.

 

Any ideas?
