Nissan has lost it along with Mitsubishi since owned by Renault, only very few models from both companies remain an original Japanese cars.

Renault doesn't own Nissan - it is an alliance to share costs, etc. As regards Mitsubishi, it is Nissan who have a controlling stake in Mitsubishi, and they have included Mitsubishi in the alliance with themselves and Renault. Of course Mitsubishi have now withdrawn from UK and will continue in Europe with two Renault based models.
