Whirring noise

Hi guys

i just got a Toyota Corolla 2091 1,8 HSD and I noticed a noise like whirring from underneath the back seat when traveling above 70km/h .

i am not sure if it comes from the rear wheels 

Does anybody has the same feeling ?

It sounds like you're having the same issue that I was having. If you're absolutely certain it's not your tire than I would consider checking out your wheel bearing. Most places will inspect for free like Firestone.

There is a fan that cools the Battery under the back seat, make sure the fan grill is kept clear or the Battery may overheat. Otherwise, maybe the dealer can help. I have not noticed anything, although the tyres do make quite a lot of road noise most of the time, unless on a very smooth patch of road.
