Help ! We can hear the ‘road’ ..

Hi

 

Years ago we bought our first RAV4 Mk1 and I loved everything about it apart from it was a tad noisy inside .. when I had it in our local garage for a service and check up they did a few little things and one surprised me cheered me up as it came back so much quieter .. we could hear the music better and weren’t as aware of the road sound..

 

I’m sure he said it was a cheap part .. something like a steering gasket or whatever ??

 

Anyways our 17 yrs old RAV4 Mark 2 has started getting noisier and noisier ... any ideas what part I need fitted ??
