Matrix led, Blind spot monitoring 2019

So apperantly some countries such as the Netherlands, Italy, Germany and Poland can get these matrx led's in the top trim but other countries (again in the top trim) only get the bi-led's? The same thing goes for blind spot monitoring. Why is that? Why do some markets have more options than others? I can understand why the US cars will have some differences when compared with the European ones, but why are there differences among European countries? You cant get these things as an option which is really weird. Meanwhile in my country (Greece) we cant even get a panoramic sunroof, quite frustrating since it's almost always sunny here and i would like to let some sun inside ,plus the car looks better with the sunroof when viewed from outside.

Each importer decides on the specifications and options of vehicles they will be selling. The information they base their decisions on may vary from country to country, but will probably include things like previous experience of what sells and what doesn't in their area, the specifications and prices of competing vehicles in their market, etc.

For example, historically UK owners buy more convertibles than the likes of the Italians, French, and Spanish, despite having lower year round temperatures, more mixed weather, etc. Sunroofs were very popular in the UK until more cars gained air con - however, panoramic roofs seem to be reversing this trend and are becoming popular.

Here in Portugal, panoramic roof is only available on the top trim as series equipment. The same with electric boot door with foot sensor, head up display and qi charging. But it costs a lot more (over 40k€, about 5k€ more) and has bundled full leather heated seats, sat nav, 18"alloy wheels. On the other hand active suspension and JBL sound system aren't available not even as an option in any grade. I went with the 2nd best trim because I wanted all safety pack (blis, rcta), sport front seats and hated the black roof of the next (but much cheaper) version. It's a little odd, but that's common with all manufacturers.
