Hi guys, hope we're all well? I'm looking at replacing my headlight bulbs got the correct bulbs, but before messing wanted some advice at tackling the plastic engine cover, believe its held in with plastic studs? What's the best way to remove them and put them back safely?

Hi,

You shouldn't need to remove the engine cover itself, but there is a plastic trim panel attached the slam panel with plastic studs similar to these:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/sourcingmap-Plastic-Push-type-Retainer-Fastener/dp/B0794WHBJV/ref=sr_1_fkmr2_1?keywords=50Pcs+Lexus+Toyota+Clips+and+One+Plastic+Fastener+Remover&qid=1571304973&sr=8-1-fkmr2

You pop the circle in the centre up and that allows the stud to be pulled out. You may well find that some ham fisted people have been there before and broken most of them anyway (was certainly the case on my 2009 Auris!).
