Yaris T-Sport remote key programming techstream

Looking for advice! On eBay I bought Techstream software (v14) and the cable. Also on eBay I bought a new remote key (no oem). I managed to get the transponder working. I can start the car with it. Only the remote function on the key to open the doors is a problem. In Techstream there isn’t the Wireless code registration option under the Main body button (both aren’t there), which I see is used in the YouTube manuals. As an alternative I tried the manual procedure, but this also doesn’t work.

Is there anyone who solved this problem and is willing to help me? Or knows an existing topic where I can find the solution?

the subject is an 2003 Yaris 1.5 T-Sport, produced in Japan, with an Tokai-Rika remote key insert.

thanks!

It should just be a manual setup along the lines of hold both buttons turn the ignition on, etc if you have the correct fob type 1 of 3 iirc

did you check in TS to see how many keys are registered,

Toyota Yaris 1999-2006 remote programming instructions

1. Open the driver’s door.
2. Insert the pre-programmed working key into the ignition lock then remove it. Don’t turn the ignition on.
3. Within 40 seconds: Close and open the driver’s door twice, then
4. Insert the new key into the ignition then remove it. Don’t turn the ignition on.

5. Within 40 seconds: Close and open the driver’s door twice, then
6. Close the driver’s door, then

7. Insert the new key into the ignition and turn the ignition on then off, then
8. Remove the new key, then
9. The central locking should now lock then unlock twice.
10. Press the lock and unlock on the remote at the same time for 1.5 seconds
11. Within 3 seconds, press the lock button on the remote for 1 second.
12. The central locking should lock and unlock once.
13. If the central locking locks then unlock twice then the sequence has not been successful. Try again.
14. Open the driver’s door to complete the sequence.

Thanks! I’m going to try this evening, starting with the Techstream check. Keep you posted.

Tried, in the manual procedure I get the central locking in the cycle mode but the the system doesn’t cycle after I pushed the buttons on the new remote. In Techstream I only have the immobiliser option, not the wireless option so I can’t check the pump number of registered keys. I’m out of options for now. Think I bought the wrong key... Does anyone know where to buy a good working Tokai Rika  type B01SA remote. Can be just the insert or a complete key. Thanks again!

It works! Ordered a used Tokai Riis B01SA on eBay. Programming the remote was easy with the manual procedure from flash22. And I reprogrammed the chip with the Techstream software I had bought on AliExpress. Put the insert in a fold key, also from AliExpress, and had the the cut by a local shop. Problem solved!

6 and 7 ............... How do you insert the key when the door is closed?

At no time in those instructions does it say you should actually be inside the car! 🤣

Hello everyone, I need to do the exact same thing Edwin2103 did for his car, but the issue in my case is a bit different.

The previous owner lost the master key (with the remote) so I bought one from aliexpress (I'm not sure that's the same he bought) and I managed to copy the second key trasponder, successfully turning the engine on, but I still can't open the doors remotely.

I also tried with techstream software (10/11/12/14 versions) but I can't see my car in the list so I'm not able to connect to my car correctly.

The car is the same as his but from 2004.

Any advices?  Thanks.
