Reversing Camera/in car Display

Does anyone know if there is a way of either turning off the reversing camera or just the in car display.  My daughter has her driving test on Tuesday and her instructor says she’s not allowed to have the help of the reversing camera for any manoeuvres.  So I would like to temporarily disable this feature.  Only solution I can think of is sellotaping a piece of paper over the screen but would prefer just to turn it off.  Thanks

Don't think the camera can be turned off. Could try paper or something like insulating tape (but I'd avoid applying the adhesive directly to the lens in case it leaves residue or similar). Or something to cover the lens secured by tape (plastic milk carton cap?).
