Recommend a HUD for Hybrid

Hi,

So, new to the Auris Hybrid and the only thing I'm a little less than enamoured with is the analog speedometer. I much prefer digital and would also like to limit my looking away from the road so would like to invest in a HUD.

However, having read many of the reviews on HUDs it seems hybrids have problems with them.

I'm specifically looking for an OBD HUD rather than solely GPS as coverage can be spotty around my area. GPS would be nice as a backup tho. Primary function would be the digital speedo, but I don't object to other features. What i'm more concerned about is that it can cope with the on/off of a hybrid engine.

Do you have any recommendations? Do you use a HUD?

I bought a HUD to use in my first hybrid, 2010 Auris. It plugged into OBD connector on the steering column. Displayed digitally speed, also a rev counter bar, water temp bar. Worked fine. Now I got a Prius which has HUD (great) and the wife not into gadgets (she now has the Auris) it’s not used. I will dig it out, see what make it is etc.

That is exactly what I am looking for, as I struggle to see the analog speedo after having digital speedo's on my last 4 cars. I was looking at this, as it's not too bulky.
