Radio/cCD and Side Mirrors not Working

Hi,

I've recently installed a front dashcam  and tried to connect through the ACC fuse location first but then chose one of the ECU-IG location. The Dashcam is working with no warning lights but CD/radio and side mirror adjustment not working. I've looked at the DOME fuse, the ACC fuse, the GAUGE and CIG fuse but all ok. Anyone any ideas what to try next. I enclose picture of RadioCD  WHICH HAS NO POWER TO IT.

The only one they share is the 5 amp ACC fuse, you don't want to fuse tap anything what is related to the ecu

The chances are you have popped the 5A ACC fuse, just swap it out for a new one also make sure you haven't spread the terminals that hold the fuse as some fuse taps are of a thicker material than a standard fuse - one of the reasons i don't like them

Thanks Flash, I've swapped the ACC for another one and still no luck, maybe I should try again ?

I've also checked the DOME fuse in the engine fuse compartment , this was ok.

The only thing in common is that ACC fuse as such it's only live with the ignition on

Edit. You are checking the right fuse box ? The one behind the glove box, make sure you haven't disturbed any of the relays too, the ACC relay also controls the cig aka the 12v aux socket

Is this issue already resolved? I have the same problem. In my toyota vios 2015 model. Side mirror and radio both went out and all the fuses are okay.

Check the fuse box behind the gauges, this is a mainly uk based forum the vios/yaris 4 door isn't sold here but i have been helping other members with these cars have a look at the pics posted in this thread below

Just looked it up for you, it's the ECU-ACC fuse 5A - 2 fuses together on the left hand side behind the gauges (this is for the Asia built Vios/yaris LHD only)
