Just acquired a 19 plate CHR, I find that in dry weather but with the roof still wet then excess water will ingress into the open front windows under braking, seems like a design flaw that Toyota won't address, their advice is to close the window until the car is dry which is pretty lame or try wind deflectors but don't guarantee these to work, pretty naffed off by the whole issue and unlikely to have another Toyota period.

Now that cars no longer have distinct roof gutters, the same would be true of most cars.

Wind deflectors are brilliant in these situations and they look cool as well!
