STOP THE DAMN THINGS FROM TURNING!!!!!!!!!!

I bought my self some 30mm lowering spring for £30 to fit them myself.. (i hate paying someone silly money to fit things that i could do myself, albeit a bit longer)..

i jack up the car, take off the whell, and get a spanner on the stabilizer bar nuts... and it just turns.. the 5mm hex hole n the middle of the nut is too rusted to do anything with.

So HOWcan i stop it turning??

please help.

tony.

OH and HI everybody!!

If the hex hole is nackered anyway, beat a size bigger allenkey into it. Place a wooden block or similar behind the bolt to steady it!

i usualy use pointed vise grips to get a hold where the rubber boot is,sometimes this is not enough and a little heat is needed which can lead to the bar wearing quickly...other option is to get new links
