Hi from Germany

This is my first post in this forum, I'd just like to say hello and introduce myself.

Three weeks ago I took delivery of a 2016 Toyota Yaris Hybrid Style Selection. The car is more or less fully equipped, with keyless entry, cruise control, power windows in all doors, heatable front seats and spooky things like lane assist, automatic high beam lights and rain sensor. I am very pleased by the comfortable ride of the hybrid drivetrain and the low fuel consumption - although the car burns more fuel than expected so far.

I live in Augsburg, which is a medium sized city in Southern Germany, about 30 miles west of Munich. The Yaris is my first Toyota. I had a Citroen C3 Pluriel before, you know, the convertible which drove Jeremy Clarkson mad. And whenever I am fed up with smooth, electric gliding, I mount my motorcycle, a '98 BMW R1100GS.

I like everything about it, low fuel consumption, convenience, cruise control, and more. By the way, I was in Germany last year. I came with my wife to visit relatives in Berlin, it's a beautiful city. By the way, we traveled the whole country by train. We usually bought a ticket on this site in advance, dbfahrplan.com, and only then went on a trip to the next city. So good luck to ya, my man :)

Hello Frank, welcome to the TOC, I’m on my third Yaris Hybrid, this Mark4 is the best of the lot. Too many adjectives needed to describe it, I just say that it’s a little genius of a car 🚗.
