07 Avensis 2.0 D4D cold start problems

Hi, I’m new to this and this is my first post. I’ve got a 07 Avensis 2.0 D4D with 250000 miles on it! Serviced every 5000 miles by myself and I do most of the mechanical stuff with it. This problem though, has me stumped. 
Really hard to start when it’s below 5degrees outside. I’ve changed the glow plugs and still no joy. Battery and starter were checked today by an auto sparks and they too are ok. Any ideas??

Check your airpath and filter are fine. Carefully clean the airflow sensor wit MAF cleaner. If that end is fine, then check or replace the fuel filter, make sure that the tank pump is working okay, and then look at the high pressure pump and the suction control valves. That lot should keep you busy for a couple of hours.
