iQ CVT performance and reliability

Dear all, apologies if something like this has been posted before but a quick Google of this website didn't reveal anything.

I'm looking to purchase a small citycar for my wife but it has to be an automatic. The ASG versions of the Up and Citigo seem to have major problems with false neutrals etc. This has led me to the 1.0 iQ CVT. She would use it to drive around town, not on motorways at all. What's the general opinion of this transmission here in the club/forum? Reliable?  Decent driving experience in terms of gear changes? Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Have a iQ2 CVT since 2013. Never had any problems yet. Transmission is pretty smooth.

Best: 50mpg,

Worst (when wife drives 😂) : 30mpg
