Hi, a good tip from an owner in Montana on the USA forum.
When driving in snow or ice, turn off LTA , Lane Tracing Assist- Lane Centre and Steering assist

I could imagine they may cause problems in slippery conditions. Not had any snow in Fife yet but sure to come as I am 500ft up.

Many years ago driving a Honda CRV on an empty dual carriageway on a very cold winter morning I hit an icy section at 30mph. I was being very careful putting on and taking off the power but the car started to slide on one side, I was happy I could correct this, but traction control kicked in trying to correct this. Normally not a problem but I assume TC over corrected and the car started to oscillate seriously badly, but really badly. I probably travelled for 5 seconds with the oscillations getting bigger and bigger, I ended spinning 180°. Luckily no other cars around and stayed in a straight line avoiding ditches either side. This was definitely traction control that made me loose control.

I assume the TC matched the natural frequency of the wheels traction so the car handling went into resonance. Similar to a motorbike getting a tank-!Removed!; due to aerodynamics.

One word I can not add as I guess it is deemed a rude word.
