DTC P1741, P1742

Hi! My name Edward! My car, Toyota Avensis T27, 1,4 d4d, 2015 year, have DTC P1741, P1742. That they mean, and how to repair them?

For all the following I am assuming that this is an automatic.

Simply googling this code P1741 has results indicating that the torque converter (or equivalent) rotational speeds are not what the powertrain computer module is expecting.  Possibly due to a failure in the torque converter lockup clutch solenoid, or the transmission oil is dirty or low.

I would check the automatic transmission fluid level, but there may be a special technique to this, which will be explained in your owner's manual.

I am expecting it is out of warranty (3 years where you are?), if it is in warranty then take it to a dealer, obviously. 

If not, then I think I would take advice from a specialist transmission repairer.

If the costs are to be paid by yourself, then I would definitely try a fluid change.  Also, If the level is low, then a leak needs investigating, perhaps it is from the transmission oil cooler, if it has one?

I'm sure someone who knows more about these will post an answer shortly....

But for me transmission mechanical, 6 transmissions?

In that case, that answer is incorrect, hopefully someone else can give you the correct advice.

Where did you get the error codes from?

Are there any symptoms?

How many miles has the car done?

6.In activating of executive devices - to activate the management of Swirl Control Valve.
7.To control a value Swirl Valve Actuator Position (in activating,a value must change in a range from 5 to 95%) in parameters.
8.To make,sure that a vortical shutter is really "stopped" from hammered by the coke of the inlet highway or "dangles" from a wear.
9.To conduct procedure of Swirl Valve Learning Value Reset

Are there vortical shutters of the system SVC in this motor?  Motor 1WW. 1,6 D4D/

Today found out the taken off traction with activate the management of Swirl Control Valve. Put at a place, tomorrow I will look the presence of codes of disrepairs.

Errors P1741 and P1742 fail to appear. But there was new -Р2237.- O2 sensor positive current control circuit\ open B1S1. Intercommunication of vortical shutters and sensor of oxygen?

I go for a drive year on a machine, the repeated diagnostics gave out code of disrepairs of p1471 again, p1472, p1473, p1474. Is it all related to Jammed valve module? Did anybody repair him?

I am experincing P1473.

P1473 is the swirl control valve, the motor is in the end of the intake manifold it could be carbon build up meaning the flaps are not moving correctly or it just needs recalibration/initialization

I shall keep adding cleaner to the Diesel tank, use the premium Diesel and if it does not clear, go to my mechanic to check the swirl control valves.
