Just a quickie, I want to print a letter with tomorrows date on it, every time I hit print the date changes to today’s date! :ffs:

Does anyone know how to stop the date from changing when I try and print the document?

Cheers all

temporarily change the date of your system clock, either in bios or just double click the clock icon in the bottom right of ur toolbar. (can also help with time dated trial software)

im sure there will be an ms word way of tweaking too

Probably a bit late now but...

To turn off AutoComplete

On the Insert menu, point to AutoText and then click AutoText.

Clear the Show AutoComplete tip for AutoText and dates check box.

Just tick the box again when you want to switch it back on.

why not enter the date manually?

or change the date to tomorrow on the PC

Well that would work fine but it messes up anyhthing else you do while the time is set incorrectly. Like if you post on a Usenet newsgroup for example.

Not a very elegant solution, either.

then set it back again, I would write a batch file for you, but dont use word and Usenet at the same time

Err... I don't need one thanks. I use the method I posted. Anyway it's TVOR's thread and I assume he doesn't need to worry anymore. It IS tomorrow!
