Dear All

My driver door (front left) moves like up and down on bigger bumps. It is very confusing and annoying.

Did you experienced such thing?

Have a look at the hinge area on the A pillar for possible cracking.

Hi

Hinges are fine, no cracks. What other should I check?

Thanks

Check all the bolts are tight and then try moving the open door up and down to check for play from worn hinges. Compare it to to other doors to see if it is excessive.

Does the door move or the body twists? This can be a common think with cars that have softer bodies, pretty much most of the Toyota models from that years . Auris are same, they twists over bumps and diagonal slopes crossing. If it is not excessive then you have nothing to worry.

Dear All

I put some silicone spray on the rubbers around the door and it stopped making any sound, isn't it funny?
