Remote Central Locking

I have just purchased an imported 1995 Toyota Celica 2.0 GT.

I bought it privately but was quite suprised when I did not get a remote locking key fob.

Are these cars equiped with remote locking ?

If so, does anyone know how I would go about finding one suitable for the car ?

Are the buttons on the key? My imported GT4 had the button built into the key. Also have you got an alarm?

Imports dont have alarms so i would recommend getting one ASAP, a decient system will come with remote central built into it anyway.

the key is just a normal one without a button.

What do you think about ones which are feature rich including remote starting for about £50 (link below). Or is it worth paying extra for a well known brand such as clifford.

Lazerline do the best alarms for Celica's in my opinion. They have all the features of other alarms of course but they seem to work well with the vehicles built in system. i.e doesnt go off accidently or play up
