Corolla 2007 Modifications suggestions?

Hello!

I got my drivers license a few months back, and I'm now in the process of trying to research what I could possibly change in the car for better performance, I'm pretty sure the car is mostly stock parts, it's in almost perfect condition except for a few bumps on the body. I was hoping that someone could suggest some parts I could get, and why I should make those changes. I've been researching for a few hours over the past weeks, but I'm just getting more confused the more I read, and watch videos about things to modify within a car.

I'm unsure of what model of Corolla it is exactly, although I can check if anyone wants me to, Can also include pictures. 🙂

It's petrol, and the engine size is 1.398cm3. Also according to the little paper I found in the car it's a E15EJ(a)
