speakers not working

hi all, recently driving my rav4 and we heard a fuzzy sound and then nothing at all from Speakers since. removed head unit and all connections are good, thinking maybe the amp has failed, has anyone had any experience with this and is it fixable? Or does anyone have a spare head unit for sale? 2014 rav4 thanks alot
