How often to replace vee belts

When do vee belts need replacing on Toyota corolla 1.4 1999

Not seen a specific mileage for replacing the Aux drive belt/s, normally its specified as a check of thier condition at every service / per year.

Check the drive belt for fraying, cracks, wear and oiliness.

Have generally changed my belts as a matter of course at around 60k miles or 6 years.

If yours are of unknown age then changing them would be a wise precaution, usually a simple job to fit. though worth paying a bit more for a decent brand rather than some of the cheapies.
