parts for 1994 Rav4 J

Just purchased a 1994 Rav4 J. and I know they used same parts both there and here in US. If anyone else has one this model what would be the same as here the US when I go to parts store 

looking up parts?

it all depend on where it was built as for aftermarket parts on your side of the pond avoid Cardone, BWD and dorman

Thank you for the heads up!, I will be sure to check the manufacturers first before purchase. I took a shot in the dark and ordered some front brakes

and had to use "1996 year" seeing how that was the first year in us. Once again thanks for the heads up and I will let everyone know how it goes with the brakes

and future parts.

So far I have started off simple like rear shocks and brakes,by using year 1996 which was the first year it came to the states , that seams to work.
