Looks pretty genuine to me though.....thats the scary thing.

I think i remember hearing that the original BMW Z1 was based around some other car...maybe toyota did some kinda deal with them, it does happen :huh::wacko:

might have to have a chat to BMW cus if that thing actualy exists, might be able to get some kit for mine, side skirts, seats etc they just might fit.......this is worth having a dig

Thats madness.....just done a trawl throught t'tinterweb like and i cant find owt to do with model apart from the Kit enthusiast that it originatley came from......me smells a rat :eek:

I reckon it's a one off custom job. You can get model kits of home mades in USA so why not Japan. (same principal as those geeks in the 80's/90's putting cossie whale tails on Beetles! :blink: )

I read somewhere there is a current connection between BMW and Toyota. Apparently the variable valve timing that BMW use was developed by Toyota
