Hi all,

I've got a facelift Corolla T Sport, recently it was stood for about a month, since then Lift is not kicking in like it used to.

At 6,200 rpm there is no noticeable surge of power, anyone experienced this issue before?

Quick Google suggests it could be a blocked Oil Control Valve

Also look at replacing the lift bolts, normally fixes the issue for us guys here in SA 👍

I'll check them this weekend, Lift was fine until the car was stood for a bit so didn't think it would be them.

Had the car 13 years and this is the first time Lift's not engaged!!

Check your solenoid filters and your oil level

Lift bolts are ultra common, check the vvti solenoid, a few taps with the back of a screwdriver may bring it back to life
