Yaris Estore app download

I have recently bought a second hand Yaris and I am trying to download the Estore app in order to update the Touch2 system. 

When I download from myToyota I only get a file called swdl.iso rather than the zip containing several files that I would expect. The file doesn’t work when plugged into the car. I have tried various devices and browsers and they all give the same result. 

Any ideas out there?

Do you have the sat nav ? you only get the connected services the sat nav

 

Updates are done via USB the stick has to be formatted correctly

I have satnav and the USB is FAT32 formatted. 
The problem seems to be with the files downloading from the App Store. 
I have put a post on the Toyota.co.uk blog, I’ll see if they come up with anything. 
TBH the only useful thing I could update is the maps and that looks a bit too expensive. The only inaccuracies I have noticed on my current maps are with a few speed limits. I might just turn them off and do it the old way instead!

I take you are going into the service menu to do the update ?

Make sure nothing is plugged in to the usb, turn the car on, go into the service menu, go into service information then update, insert the usb stick
