rear number plate lights

hi, how do you change rear reg plate lights  on mk3(2018),do you have to take cover off tail gate,had a look from outside,but dont want to force and break anything 😜shaun

Shuan Hi, They should just prise out. When you look at them, there should be a tiny slot one one edge, flick them out using a thin screwdriver or plastic trim tool.

As above, it is also details it in the manual, if both bulbs are out i would check that the tail lights are both working, if not you may have blown a fuse
