1993 Estima 4wd

Hi All

 

I have had my Estima for 15 trouble free years but alas it has developed a starting fault, driving home it just stopped as though the ignition had been switched off,I had an auto electrician look at it and he said something about a relay in the engine bay and said it wasn't worth fixing. What I am hoping for is someone who knows these vehicles to get it running again, I live in the Solihull area, if you are or know someone who is knowledgeable with these vehicles I would be willing to pay the going rate.

I'd change your auto electrician...obviously he couldn't be bothered..but a comptetent one should have the knowedge and the kit to trace a fault.

Thanks Neil, i agree, trying not to have another bad experience finding the right person is the problem, any pointers?.

There must be local auto-electricians that could help...finding one with a good rep is the key,

You need to trace the fault...guessing can get expensive...a relay is easy enough to replace...but it may be a simple wiring/connection issue.
