Hello from a newbie

HI All,

New to the forum and three weeks into 2007 Toyota Hilux 3.0 auto ownership, big comfy and quiet, well I guess anything would be after a 32 year old V8 110!

Looks like some interesting reading and font of knowledge here, got led here after the engine went into limp mode, already, and turns out the previous owner had fitted a piggy back 'Race Chip' module to the truck which sent into melt down now I'm starting to get a bit more aggressive with the loud pedal. Unplugged, reset professionally and touch wood, all seems fine?

Any one else had this ? code was P1251. 

anyway, other than that, what a lovely drive and I'm very happy with the purchase (and it came with spare 'summer' wheels!!).
